1 Thessalonians 4:3 NLT
God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin.
From where or who did I mostly get my view of sex? (Example: TV and media, school, peers, parents, church/Scripture, or somewhere else) Do I still need God to help me “unlearn” some of that view?
Was I provided with a healthy view of sex as a gift from God? (given for a husband and wife to enjoy, to unite, and ideally, to make new life) Was my view of sex shaped by the belief that it was mostly just for self-centered pleasure? Or did I incorrectly view sex as wrong, dirty, or shameful?
Do I even know for sure what the Bible teaches about sex - including married sex (including oral sex - see Song of Solomon), adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bestiality, or other sinful practices? Do I normally provide others with a Biblical, healthy view of sex and its boundaries?
