Galatians 3:26-27 NET
For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. 3:27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
After being baptized, what do you think about the description of yourself as being a “child of God, clothed with Christ”?
What does the term “UNITED” mean - and how important is it when you think about your baptism as an act of faith that “UNITED” you to Christ’s death and burial?
Some misread Paul’s writings in 1 Corinthians 1:11-17 to mean that baptism was either optional or unimportant, but does Paul’s baptism question in verse 13 assume that baptism was unnecessary/optional - or did Paul assume that every believer in Corinth had been baptized? Either way, in what name did Paul assume the Corinthians had been baptized?
